A Well-Built Reputation
By Amanda Drew
A drive through the Fab 40s easily invokes admiration for the quality of design and sheer beauty of each home.
And it’s not surprising that many of them—52, to be exact—have been built or remodeled by Tim Leake Builder, one of the leading general contracting companies in Land Park and East Sacramento.
Tim Leake Builder has completed more than 700 projects throughout the Sacramento Valley. Leake, who has been doing construction since 1969, established the company in 1981 with a clear vision.
Creative Destruction

This Homeowner loves the remodeling process
For some people, home construction creates turmoil. The process of building a new home or renovating an older home is filled with too many decisions and too much discombobulation to family routines. Most just put their heads down and plow through, making whatever adjustments to family life are necessary. And they are thrilled when the project is complete. But this is not the way Arden resident Wendy Kirkpatrick sees it. She understands the construction routine and thrives on each step along the way.
Tim Leake, the general contractor who built the 4,200-square-foot Tudor-style home Kirkpatrick shares with Mike Monogan, is familiar with Kirkpatrick’s affinity for building. He has worked with her on four previous remodels, and the two have been friends for 25 years.

We just wanted to take a moment to convey to your company about how often we talk about the quality of work that went into our kitchen renovation. We’re absolutely excited that we chose Tim Leake Builder for our project. We don’t feel as if anyone else would have done such an outstanding job for us. We love, love, love our kitchen!

I appreciate your enthusiasm and expertise. The house looks great. Thanks for everything!
